Annual Exhibition 2023

Welcome to Ikebana International Seattle Chapter 19’s 64th Annual Exhibition!

Let’s start with celebrating spring with this video showing vibrant flowers! (Thank you, Machiko Faught, for creating the video.)

Spring Blooms 2023: created by Machiko Faught

This year we combine both virtual and in-person displays.

The photo album below is our virtual exhibition. Enjoy these seventeen Ikebana arrangements. Click any of the photos to launch the photo album.

The photos below are from the in-person exhibition we held on May 13 and 14. Over 150 people visited our exhibition and enjoyed the 29 arrangements. We greatly appreciate Consulate General Inagaki and his wife coming to our show.

Now the in-person exhibition is over, you can still enjoy them in the photo album wherever you are!

Message from I.I. Annual Virtual 2022 Exhibition Co-chairs

We would like to welcome you, all Ikebana International Chapter 19 members, family, friends, and viewers from all over the world to the International Ikebana Chapter 19 Annual Virtual 2022 Exhibition!  As you will see, the exhibition is overflowing with Spring Joy!!  It makes us feel happy after a long cold winter.

We have 31 creations by the various schools’ enthusiastic arrangers.  The motto of the association is “Friendship through Flowers” and encompasses many different schools.  Certainly, we achieved the motto with Ikenobo, Ohara, Senke, Koryu, Hua Yuan, and Sogetsu arrangers.  We appreciate all the arranger’s enthusiasms and actions to make this successful virtual exhibition 2022.  Your Ikebana display in order we received.

Special thanks to Akemi Sagawa, our honorary member and webmaster for making the site.

Thanks to you all, again.

Best and Happy Ikebana!
